SORBERFOAM

Description ~ Sorberfoam is a combustion modified, hydrolysis resistant flexible polyether polyurethane acoustic foam. It has controlled high flow resistance for maximum sound absorption and being hydrolysis resistance is especially suited for use in damp and humid areas.

Application ~ Sorberfoam is ideally suited for wall & ceiling linings for plant and equipment rooms, vehicle interiors, heading, air conditioners, machinery enclosures. It is easy to cut and handle with low installation costs, has a long service life and resists liquids, dust and spray.

SORBERFOAM ALR

Description ~ Sorberfoam ALR is a reinforced, aluminium foil faced polyether polyurethane acoustic foam with low flammability and smoke emission. The aluminium foil face provides a light and heat reflective facing which protects the foam from dust, oil and other contaminants. The reinforcing scrim provides strength and tear resistance. It provides high sound absorption in the mid-frequency region plus has excellent thermal properties. As the foam is hydrolysis resistant it is well suited for damp and humid areas. Joins can be sealed with matching self adhesive aluminium foil tape.

Application ~ Sorberfoam ALR  is ideally suited for marine engine rooms, acoustic and thermal insulation for air conditioner duct work and plenum areas; power generation units, machinery and equipment enclosures and for vehicle engine compartments, fire walls and bonnets.

SORBERFOAM F

Description ~ Sorberfoam F consists of polyether polyurethane acoustic foam bonded to a tough, extensible, tear resistant polyurethane film facing. This film facing optimises flow resistivity and maximises the sound absorption plus provides a protective layer against liquids, sprays or dust.  As the foam is hydrolysis resistant it is well suited for damp and humid areas.

Application ~ Sorberfoam F is ideally suited for machinery and equipment enclosures, compressor and generator enclosures, boat engine compartments, air conditioners, vehicle under bonnet  insulation, interior sound absorption, wall and ceiling lining for plant and equipment rooms.

SORBERFOAM V – Acoustic Hood Lining

Description ~ Soberfoam V consists of polyether polyurethane acoustic foam bonded to an attractive, functional and hardwearing, perforated vinyl facing. Excellent for mid-frequency sound absorption, it provides optimum noise reduction in the operator cabins of trucks and tractors. As the foam is hydrolysis resistant it is well suited for damp and humid areas

Application ~ Sorberfoam V is ideally suited for cab linings for trucks, boats, tractors, heavy machinery and off-road vehicles. It is also used for larger acoustic enclosures, acoustic screens and wall lining for offices and factories. It is used in control rooms, telephone areas plus sound and recording studios.
Other colours and thicknesses available but subject to minimum quantities.
